*The diamond mines were used as a financial resource for the war. It always guaranteed the continuous relationship between RUF and Liberian president Charles Taylor.

Although the civil war caused many deaths, did it help Sierra Leone in any way? You said the goals of the RUF are to enhance the education system and take away social injustice. Did the RUF achieve these goals and help the country?
